The annual conference of the European Doula Network (EDN) is being hosted in Turkey this year by the Doula Initiative.
Doulas from across Europe and around the world will gather in Istanbul for three days to meet under the theme "Holding the Space, Bridging the Gap."
The conference program includes a special workshop on infant birth reflexes, sharing sessions on doula experiences from different countries, and an engaging panel discussion. Additionally, a joyful journey through Istanbul—the city where continents meet—will be part of this experience. The detailed program will be announced at a later date.
The official language of the event will be English. Participants requiring language support can indicate their request on the registration form or contact us directly for information.
What Awaits Us at EDN 2026?
Based on the European Doula Network’s (EDN) core values of curiosity, care, and mutual respect, this conference creates a unique space—not only for gaining new knowledge but also for growing our solidarity by building bonds with our international colleagues.
Our program is designed with content that will deepen our professional practice and broaden our horizons. At this year’s gathering, we will come together for a special workshop on infant birth reflexes. Additionally, the highlights of the program include cross-border experience sharing, where doulas from different countries will present their own practices and insights, alongside an engaging panel discussion.
